Falling Up!

Falling Up

Perspective

When I look back at how many times I have fallen or tripped in my life, I can think of many. As a kid, I fell plenty of times. As an adult, much less, With each experience, I learn to be aware of what not to do the next time to avoid falling.

Inevitably, I still fall being that I am only human. But with each fall, comes a new lesson. So for this reason I can honestly say that instead of falling down, I just seem to fall up.

In my past blogs, I have written about perspective quite a bit. The reason I emphasize this so much is because life really is what you make of it. It’s all in how you see your situation.

It’s in our human nature to always see things in a negative way by default. Our minds are naturally drawn to see the bad before we see the good.

Choosing to open our internal eyes and beginning to see the positive in every situation can change our whole outlook on life. Choosing to do the opposite when your mind is telling you you can’t do something, gives you ultimate control of where you go in life.

Falling Up

Making small changes to your perspective and how you view yourself and the world, begins a shift in your mind. A defiant retraining. For example, when we fall, we say we fall down, but what if I choose to see it as falling up? I see the part where I fell but this will teach me what to be aware of the next time so I don’t make the same mistake. So, I see it as falling up.

You may think I’m crazy but, it’s all in how you choose to look at it. And in my mind, it’s my world, where no one else has control but me. As long as your perspective is positive and taking you down a road of success, who cares how you see it? What matters most is the outcome.

The Road to Success

Conclusion

Retraining your brain doesn’t begin with huge changes that alter your life overnight. It’s the small beginning ground thoughts that you build on. The small changes. Seeing yourself falling up. Take little negative thoughts and begin to see the positive in them.

Spend some time throughout your day meditating on the good things in your life. Seeing what could be a bad situation and how you can make something good come out of it.

We all have the power to direct our lives in such a way that each step and each choice we make is pre thought and taken with purpose. Where your vision is directed, is where your steps will take you also.

It’s time for us to change our vision. Our perspective. To begin to take the right steps to keep us from falling up.
